MIBR confirm insani and tacitus
MIBR have announced their CS:GO lineup for 2023, seeing MIBR Academy player Felipe "insani" Yuji called up as a replacement for Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian, while former FURIA assistant coach Marcos "tacitus" Castilho has been in brought in to bolster the team's coaching staff. This announcement sees MIBR confirm their lineup ahead of their debut in the ESL Pro League Season 17 North American Conference where they will be facing off against Nouns and ATK for a spot in EPL. The two moves were first reported by Dust2 Brasil in early January.
The addition of insani to MIBR's main lineup sees the 18-year-old rifler link up with Breno "brnz4n" Poletto after the duo started their professional careers together on MIBR Academy. During 2022, insani played well in the academy program, posting a 1.07 rating over 93 maps in the Brazilian domestic scene. MIBR's focus on their academy program comes after three of their experienced players were bought out by Imperial over the course of the past twelve months. In line with this focus, MIBR have also announced a new academy lineup for 2023.
The second new face to MIBR, tacitus, joins the team after 18 months with FURIA. During this time, tacitus made a strong case as one of the most experienced new coaches in the Brazilian scene, attending two Majors in place of Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira while also helping FURIA to be the undisputed number one Brazilian team.
