Fluxo confirm new additions
Fluxo have announced the additions of former Arctic AWPer Allan "history" Lawrenz, as well as Major-winning coach Wilton "zews" Prado. This move comes amidst a massive reorganization of South American squads, with MIBR, 00 Nation, Imperial, and 9z tweaking their lineups to kick off 2023.
Initial reports of Fluxo's interest in zews emerged over two weeks ago, when The Enemy stated that the squad was on the hunt for zews as well as a new AWPer. At the time, Fluxo reportedly hoped to acquire the services of 9z AWPer Lucas "nqz" Soares, but this move fell through as Fluxo ultimately found themselves outbid by 00 Nation, who offered Santino "try" Rigal to 9z in exchange for nqz's services.
zews makes his way to Fluxo after an unremarkable four-month stint with O PLANO, with the team's only notable appearance being a 12-14th place finish at the IEM Rio Americas RMR. Otherwise, the squad's only other appearance with zews steering the ship was the domestic ESL Brazil Premier League Season 13, where O PLANO finished in a disappointing 5-6th place.
history links up with Fluxo after a seven-month tenure with ARCTIC, during which time the squad found considerable domestic success. ARCTIC claimed victory in a number of Brazilian competitions, including the CBCS Elite League 2022 Season 2, the CBCS Finals 2022, and the CBCS Masters Festival 2022 Finals.
During history's time with ARCTIC, the squad secured only a single international outing in the form of the IEM Rio Americas RMR, but ARCTIC bombed out of the event with a 0-3 record. Despite the unfortunate showing at the RMR, ARCTIC's domestic success with history is no coincidence, as the AWPer posted a phenomenal 1.19 average rating during his time with the team.
With these changes Fluxo are now:
-
João "felps" Vasconcellos
-
Vinicius "vsm" Moreira
-
Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato
-
Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves
-
Allan "history" Lawrenz
-
Wilton "zews" Prado (Coach)
Although Fluxo are not scheduled for any events as of yet, the squad will undoubtedly be looking to get more international outings under their belt, building on their experience at ESL Challenger Rotterdam and BLAST Premier Fall Final from last year.
