zews could reunite with felps in 2023

Fluxo target Major-winning coach

Alongside the coaching change, Fluxo are also looking to change out a player.

According to a report by Jairo Junior of Brazilian publication The Enemy and confirmed by Dust2 Brasil, Fluxo are planning a number of changes to their lineup for 2023, including the addition of two-time Major champion Wilton "zews" Prado to replace Willian "Xamp" Caldas. Alongside zews, the team are also in the early of stages of replacing Lucas "lux" Meneghini with 9z's Lucas "nqz" Soares.

The reported changes to Fluxo's lineup come after a mixed year for the newcomer to Brazilian CS:GO. While Fluxo were one of the strongest teams in the domestic Brazilian scene, they largely failed to gain ground internationally, exiting ESL Challenger Rotterdam and the BLAST Fall Finals without deep runs. While not unexpected for such a new lineup, Fluxo's owners are likely expecting further growth after spending $500,000 to build the team in early August.

To that end, Fluxo are looking to make further acquisitions by luring zews away from 00 Nation to lend his experience to Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato and co. As for nqz, he is touted as a young prospect in the Brazilian scene and would likely outperform lux, who has struggled in recent months.

The Enemy note that the nqz move is progressing between the two parties while bringing zews on board is still in its early stages.

Should the reported transfers go through, Fluxo will be:

  • Brazil João "felps" Vasconcellos

  • Brazil Vinicius "vsm" Moreira

  • Brazil Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato

  • Brazil Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves

  • Brazil Lucas "nqz" Soares

  • Brazil Wilton "zews" Prado (Coach)

  • Brazil Lucas "lux" Meneghini (Inactive)
