Complexity fall in Finland
After managing to shake off their opening upset loss against the Bulgarian side of 500, with an impressive steamroll against fnatic, Complexity's next opponents would be the Portuguese SAW. Complexity would hope to win against their less favoured opponents and continue finding some form in their fight for playoffs.
Somewhat surprisingly the map would be Vertigo, not a map Complexity are known to frequent with just two maps in the past three months on it, compared to SAW having played it twelve times in the same time span. It started off poorly for the NA side as they quickly feel 0-3 after losing the pistol without getting a single kill, the misery was compiled as despite winning the first gun round, Complexity continued to struggle on their CT side.
Complexity found themselves 2-6 down before they were once again able to get guns out In particular Michel "ewjerkz" Pinto and João "story" Vieira who were proving too hot to handle as they both reached ten kills within ten rounds, helping the SAW T side to an easy six-round lead.
Complexity managed to secure two rounds back-to-back but lost a 2v1 situation in the last round of the half to leave themselves with just the four rounds moving into the T side.
In what has been somewhat of a trend for this Complexity side so far in their short history together, their T side was looking very strong as they once again managed to win out the pistol round and building off that momentum put together the next three rounds. With Michael "Grim" Wince winning a 1v2 on 4hp in the 19th, the deficit was now only three rounds.
The comeback fell flat in round 21 though as SAW shut down the Complexity B play and forced them onto an eco, a complete lockout by the Portuguese team in the following gun round gifted SAW map point. SAW proved they were the better Vertigo team as they secured their first win in Finland 16-9, for Complexity they now had to try and recover from their 1-2 start in their match against BNE.
