Polar Ace return with Advanced roster
Polar Ace have returned to CS:GO with the signing of the Collateral roster, a team currently competing in Advanced Season 31 that resides in third place on the standings. The organization had previously released their MDL lineup, now playing under Bushido Boyz, following a dismal 4-7 start to the season.
The new Polar Ace lineup have secured themselves a spot in the Advanced playoffs by ending the season with a 12-4 record, with the roster likely to debut on June 9th when the round of 16 gets underway. The team have only played in one HLTV matchup thus far, with The Quest swiftly demolishing the roster 16-1 on Overpass in the fourth StarLadder Major Americas Minor open qualifier.
Despite their poor result against The Quest, Michael "Dutchbag" Lane and company have picked up wins over a handful of notable names during their league season, including Blake "Strings" Stringer's Llama Pack, Front, and Just Swing. The team dropped the first two maps of the season in narrow fashion before going on a ten-game winstreak, with their only remaining losses coming from 17-19 overtime losses to Big Frames and LiviD, the current first and second place teams.
Polar Ace are now:
- David "Delta9" Shafer
- Tim "Hashy" Fisher
- Michael "Dutchbag" Lane
- Derek "Hendy" Hendrixson
- Jack "JackZ" Zaruba
- Dylan "Hiki" O'Kane (Coach)
Polar Ace will have the opportunity to return to MDL if they manage to make their way to a first place playoffs finish. Should they be unable to top the league, a spot in MDL Relegation would potentially pit the new team against the organization's former roster from Bushido Boyz.
