Casting call for esports reality TV show announced
Peach Maria Productions have announced an open casting call for an upcoming esports reality television show, which is set to be shot in the greater Atlanta area later this year.
Per the companies press release:
Do you eat, sleep and breathe esports? Do you have a passion for everything gaming — from Smite and Mario Kart, to Madden and Rocket League? Are you an amateur interested in showcasing your energetic and charismatic personality while competing for an opportunity to turn gaming into a career? If you answered yes, you're in luck!
This writer at least was not aware that Mario Kart was an esport.
In addition to the stated $100,000 grand prize, selected "amateur gamers" will also have the opportunity to win hardware, software, and to "receive a one-year engagement as a traveling, gaming ambassador among the world of professional esports."
