riku leaves Ascent
The top of the mountain is looking a bit empty as Ascent have been reduced to just three players.
One week after Kaitlin "Katie" Boop left Ascent following the end of the team's run in MDL Season 31, Chris "riku" Piasecki has followed suit, announcing his departure from the team late last night.
Although Ascent fared well in their inaugural MDL season, narrowly missing out on playoffs with a 9-6 record, riku's individual performance saw him lag behind his teammates, with the player posting a 0.96 rating over the course of the regular season.
With the loss of riku, Ascent are now reduced to:
Joshua "KiiroKami" Kim
Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar- David "Sneaky" Polster
- Steven "HeartBreaker" Cropley (Coach)
Ascent's calendar is currently clear of upcoming events, which will give the team ample time to rebuild their roster as they prepare for MDL Season 32.
