The Imperial Army is stopped
The SK reunion of players from that legendary lineup met up for the first time in a long while as they battled it out in a 1-1 matchup to determine who would be going on to qualification and who would be on the brink of elimination. The game would be settled on Inferno after 00 Nation declined to play Vertigo.
To open the match, Imperial started out by winning the opening pistol and the next four rounds to take an instant 5-0 lead. While they would let 00 Nation get some rounds on their T-side, it was mostly a shut-down game as Imperial kept Marcelo "coldzera" David dominating the match. Imperial would continue their form and close out the half 10-5.
The second half of the game was a completely different story as 00 Nation finally took advantage and was their turn to put up a staunch defense. By winning the pistol, the Epitácio "TACO" de Melo led squad would only drop a single round throughout the rest of the game. Several impressive clutches went to the favor of 00 Nation, but the exceptional teamwork and dominance from the squad's youngsters propelled them to a 16-11 victory.
