FalleN donates $200 USD to Brazilian politician's campaign
The Brazilian idol, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, has made a donation of R$ 1,000 (~$200 USD) to São Paulo congressman, Kim Kataguiri. The politician used Twitter to thank the legendary AWPer.
Despite not being revealed by either FalleN or Kim, Dust2 Brasil discovered the donation value after an investigation.
After both exchanged friendly words on social media, fans of the Professor also voiced their position, with many of them saying "not present" - the opposite of what is said when FalleN makes a good play. The mostly negative reactions towards this interaction come from the fact that congressman Kim Kataguiri was recently involved in a controversy when the deputy said during a podcast that Germany made a mistake criminalizing Nazism. Later on, Kim apologized.
Kim Kataguiri is a 26-year-old politician who, according to his Twitter biography, is an otaku, and gamer. The congressman has a YouTube channel where he uploads a variety of content, such as viral challenges, gameplays, music parodies, campaign videos, and streams occasionally.
This is not the first time FalleN has had a public moment with a politician. In 2019 the AWPer shared a call with Brazil's president, Jair Bolsonaro, in hopes of bringing down taxes on video games.
