cs_summit 4 announced; Liquid, NRG, Ghost invited
The fourth iteration of cs_summit has been announced, running from May 23-26 and offering a $150,000 prize pool. The last cs_summit event took place at the start of November in 2018, with NRG taking home the title with a 3-1 win over OpTic in the grand finals.
NRG have received an invite to defend their title, although this time around they will face far stiffer opposition. Two of the top five teams in the world, Liquid and ENCE, have also received invites to the tournament, while Ghost, Vitality, and Renegades round out the competitive team list for the event.
Notably, cs_summit 4 features a total of six teams compared to the previous eight, leaving the tournament's format unknown. The past three editions of cs_summit utilized a double-elimination best-of-three bracket to determine the champion, with SK, Liquid, and NRG taking home the title at the events.
The team list for cs_summit 4 looks as follows:
ENCE | Ghost |
Liquid | NRG |
Renegades | Vitality |
Five of the six teams are set to attend DreamHack Masters Dallas just two days after the conclusion of cs_summit 4, with Ghost being the sole exception.
