Zone add Bibby as coach
Following a trial during the first ESL One Cologne open qualifier, Zone have added Teric "Bibby" Ingram to their ESEA roster as a coach. Alexander "zander" Diaz had taken to Twitter earlier in the week to announce the team's search for a coach that could "fine tune the small details as well as help [the players] on an emotional level."
When initially contacted by Dust2.us, Bibby informed us that he would be coaching the team in the first day of the qualifier as a trial, and it "[was not] 100%" that he would coach them during the season. With Bibby in tow, the team's qualifier run saw them take down Chris and the boys 22-20 in the quarterfinals and steal a map off of ATK during their semifinal matchup.
Zone also recently added Alex "aproto" Protopapas following their win over Thunder Logic in the grand finals of ESEA Advanced Season 30, with the promotion to MDL resulting in 15-year-old Nathan "leaf" Orf no longer being eligible to play in the league due to the age requirement.
With Bibby's addition, Zone's roster looks as follows:
- Mike "Swisher" Schmid
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Alexander "zander" Diaz
- Hunter "koga" Allen
- Alex "aproto" Protopapas
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
Zone are currently playing in WINNERS League Season 2, and await the start of MDL Season 31 on April 22nd.
