Unjustified lose ins0mniac; add Just2EZ
Despite an impressive start to the season, Maksym "ins0mniac" Vekshteyn has opted to step down from Unjustified. To fill the void, McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison and company have brought on former ONET4P rifler Kyle "Just2EZ" Tan, hoping his prior experience in ESEA Premier will be enough to spur them on to promotion to ESL Challenger League Season 41.
ins0mniac's departure comes as quite the surprise, as the squad had seemingly hit the ground running since being announced approximately one month ago. Prior to ins0mniac's exit, Unjustified managed to boast a 5-1 record in ESEA Advanced Season 40 after beating the likes of Big Chillin and RugratZ. Elsewhere, the side managed to reach the fourth round of the most recent ESEA x Fragadelphia Winter Cash Cup before suffering a 16-10 defeat to Third Impact.
Meanwhile, Just2EZ links up with the squad after playing just four matches with Champagne down in Intermediate while looking for a new home. Before this, Just2EZ spent eight months with ONET4P where the 23-year-old managed to average a 0.92 rating across 52 maps while also helping the roster to 7th-8th and 11th place showings in ESEA Premier Seasons 38 and 39, respectively.
When contacted by Dust2.us, ins0minac explained that he has personal matters to resolve for the time being and that he will continue to play casually before possibly returning to competition.
Cyrix also echoed this statement, whilst also adding that there was a clash of personalities and roles in the server but stressed that there were no ill-feelings between ins0mniac and the team despite the split.
Following Just2EZ's addition, Unjustified now have:
-
McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison
-
Andrew "Sloopy" Church
-
Dennis "Hitman" Brichko
-
Justin "jsfeltner" Feltner
-
Kyle "Just2EZ" Tan
Unjustified will be hoping to keep up the good form as they play their first game with their new addition on February 22nd versus InFinity.
