X13 replace aris with garfield
X13 have announced that Paul "aris" Wilson is no longer on the roster heading into ESL Challenger League Season 40, with former Kinship player Otto "garfield" Netteberg taking his place on the squad.
aris played with X13 for both ESEA Advanced Seasons 38 and 39, and although he announced his departure from the squad at the end of the latter, he ultimately was announced as part of X13's updated roster going into ESL Challenger League Season 40. Throughout his tenure with X13, aris helped the team to reach second-place in ESEA Advanced Season 39, and fourth-place in ESEA Premier Season 39 Relegation.
While nothing is set in stone yet, aris is currently reported to be a top candidate to join Strife after that team lost both Dylan "SATURN" Finch and Brett "brett" Rhein in recent days.
garfield joins X13 after an impressive individual showing with Kinship, whom he helped to earn a 9-5 record in the regular season of ESEA Advanced Season 39. In playoffs, garfield posted a 1.17 rating across ten maps, helping to land his team a sixth-place finish overall for the season.
X13's roster is now:
-
Max "Makzwell" Sparrey
-
Brennan "Lemonz" Lentz
-
Matthew "scar" Bruni
-
Alec "halo" Sacry
-
Otto "garfield" Netteberg
-
Kieran "KayJay" Playfair (Coach)
-
Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady (Analyst)
X13 will now be eagerly awaiting their first match of ESL Challenger League Season 40, which kicked off with its first match last night.
