Bravado advance to DreamHack Invitational Mumbai upper bracket finals
Bravado have advanced to the upper bracket finals of the DreamHack Mumbai Invitational with a 2-0 win over their fellow South Africans from eNergy (16-11 Dust2, 16-6 Mirage). Now, just two best-of-three victories separate Bravado from the lion's share of a $35,000 prize pool.
Bravado kicked off their pick of Dust2 with a 4-0 start, with Robby "blackpoisoN" Da Loca's eNergy replying back with a trio of their own. Bravado managed another round before they were reset by eNergy, allowing their countrymen to snag an additional round and tie up the match at 5-5. Bravado weren't to be halted for long however, and they fought back to take four of the remaining five rounds for a 9-6 lead at the half.
Another pair of rounds went Bravado's way with a win in the second half pistol round, but blackpoisoN and co. were quick to get themselves on the board on the T side with five rounds of their own to once again tie up the match at 11-11. Once their economy stabilized, Bravado seized control to take five rounds straight, closing out the map 16-11 and moving the series on to Mirage.
Another pistol round victory allowed for Bravado to take the first two rounds of Mirage, following up eNergy's first round win with an economic reset to further extend their lead to 4-1. eNergy secured themselves another three rounds, but Bravado continued their winning ways by taking six of the remaining seven rounds of the half for a 10-5 lead, doing themselves one better than on Dust2.
Bravado won the fourth and final pistol round of the series as they swapped over to their CT side, where they gave up one last round before closing out the series 2-0 with a 16-6 map win.

With the win, Bravado have advanced to the upper bracket final, where they'll take on the winner of the match between Signify and the second Indian BYOC qualifier. Bravado's match is set to play out at 9:15 AM EST, shortly after the two BYOC winners clash.
