mitch set to pass into Test Takers
Dust2.us has learned that Test Takers are set to make another roster move ahead of the start of the new season. On the out will be Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce, with Mitch "mitch" Semago coming in to replace him.
mitch tweeted at the conclusion of cantwinalan's run at Global Challenge, where he stated that he was unsure of what his next plans were in CS:GO having enrolled in school over the spring. cantwinalan finished 0-2 at the Global Challenge, with losses to Kinguin and Vireo.pro, having lost 2-0 to Swole Patrol in the MDL Final previously. This was after Zechrie "XotiC" Elshani failed to attend, meaning Ryan "GRAMPZ" Baber was brought in to replace him.
mitch floated in and out of the cantwinalan team after joining in late September to replace Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, seeing himself moved to a backup position just under a month later before returning to the main roster less than a week afterwards.
Test Takers finished mid-table in ESEA MDL with an 11-8 record, guaranteeing their position in the league for next season albeit missing out on playoffs. Dust2.us has learned that RIKO's departure came after a breakdown in relationship between the player and Jeff "REZU" Ngo. mitch coming in will mean he'll be reuniting with former Dignitas teammates Peter "ptr" Gurney and Josh "shinobi" Abastado,
Test Takers secured a spot in the upcoming Americas Minor Closed Qualifier, having reached the stage after a strong run through the final open qualifier. Their first match in the tournament will be against Rogue at 5 PM EST on December 12th.
This move would leave Test Takers' roster as follows:
- Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
- Jeff "REZU" Ngo
- Peter "ptr" Gurney
- Josh "shinobi" Abastado
- Mitch "mitch" Semago
The move would also mean cantwinalan's roster would be down to just three main players and a stand-in. Their roster is currently as follows:
- Connor "CONNOR93" Glover
- Sebastian "sebb" Bucki
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Ryan "GRAMPZ" Baber (Stand-in)
- Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber (Coach)
