MIBR release boltz
MIBR, and parent organization Immortals, have announced today that they have released Ricardo "boltz" Prass from his contract with the organization. boltz had been signed to Immortals since June 2016.
boltz had been a member of the roster that is currently under MIBR since October 2017, when he joined on-loan from Immortals and played with the team all the way up until July this year when he was replaced by Tarik "tarik" Celik.
While under Immortals, boltz helped the team to a notable second place finish at PGL Krakow 2017, before that roster had the now-infamous set of events at DreamHack Open Montreal just under two months later, which saw a number of players leave after Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe received his marching orders.
boltz's time with the then-SK team started with a win at EPICENTER 2017, with what appeared to be a fruitful reunion with Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo continuing with wins at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2017 and the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals. This would be the last successes of the roster, however, as 2018 would be more known for disappointing performances before the move to the new organization.
With boltz's release, MIBR's roster is as follows:
- Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
- Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
- Marcelo "coldzera" David
- Jake "Stewie2K" Yip
- Tarik "tarik" Celik
- Janko "YNk" Paunović (Coach)
- Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia (Manager)
MIBR are next set to feature at the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals in Odense, Denmark. As boltz is now a free agent, he is able to explore new options in potentially multiple teams. With Fernando "fer" Alvarenga due to miss BLAST Pro Series Lisbon and boltz off MIBR's books, it is not currently known who the team will look to.
