Nemesis fe backhand Slapknutt
ESEA Intermediate team and recent WESG USA Female Regional Finals attendees Nemesis fe have parted ways with in-game leader Jules "Slapknutt" Thor, according to a now deleted tweet by the player.
A response from teammate Naomi "Naomi" Sauvola elaborates that the team offered "contructive criticism" to Slapknutt, with Slapknutt replying that none of the criticism leveled at her was constructive, seemingly resulting in her leaving the team.
Nemesis fe were unable to prevail over Star Spangled Fraggers at the WESG USA Female Regional Finals, managing to take the team to three maps and even holding a 14-8 lead on the deciding map of Inferno before falling 14-16 to drop the series. They exited the tournament in 3-4th place, taking home $4,000 for their efforts.
A number of photos were tweeted out by Naomi at the end of WESG, expressing her love for the team and their attempted run in LA. A mere three days later, the roster found itself reduced to four players.
This leaves Nemesis fe's roster with:
- Natalia "Natty" Jackson
- Naomi "Naomi" Sauvola
- Samantha "SamanthaG" Gardull
- Juliana "missPerceived" Tosic
Nemesis fe ended their ESEA IM Season 29 run with a 6-10 record, narrowly keeping themselves in the league for next season as teams with less than 6 wins are moved down.
