Rank S Recap - Four take first; activity continues to drag
The month has moved to November, thus ending the October season of Rank S and G on ESEA's platform. This is expected to be the last month of slow activity, with ESEA having recently overhauled the road to Rank S in order to compete with FACEIT's FPL Circuit.

4. | Ricky "floppy" Kemery | 6 | $20
4. | Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani | 2 | $15

Rank S continues to follow a trend of low activity, with many players having migrated over to FACEIT's FPL Circuit since it has return to North America. The inactivity can be seen most especially in the standings, with only ten players ending October with either two, six, or twelve points.
However, with ESEA recently making moves to take on FACEIT's FPL platform, whether professional players and young talent will flock back to the platform is yet to be seen, as FACEIT has in turn made substantial improvements to their platform in response.
The full standings for October can be found on ESEA's website. However, with the recent updates to ESEA's main pugging platform, Rank S's standings will now be found in the Rank S Club on ESEA's website.
Rank G has not fared any better, with the leaderboard dragging in total points. Here are the top five players from Rank G in October:
Rank | Name | Division | Points |
1. | "dawn" | Advanced | 68 |
2. | "Top^" | Advanced | 44 |
2. | "Vipe" | Main | 32 |
4. | Danny "Bokuumbop" Yoo | Main | 32 |
5. | "Fade" | Main | 30 |
With Rank G also gaining a prize pool and moving over to ESEA Club system, ESEA also banks on Rank G to bring in younger talent à la FACEIT's FPL Challenger division.
October's full standings can be found on ESEA's website. With Rank G also migrating to ESEA's Club system, Rank G's standing will be available going forward in the Rank G Club on ESEA's website.
