Swole Patrol experiences travel woes as EPICENTER approaches
With the EPICENTER 2018 Wild Card set to begin tomorrow, Swole Patrol members Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro's trips have been delayed due to issues related to their passports and visas to Russia.
In a tweet, freakazoid explained that due to his passport being late, he missed his first flight to Russia. As a result, he's forced to take a three-hour cab to an airport and fly to Russia, which will have an eight-hour layover in New York City.
When freakazoid arrives in Russia on time, he will have only three hours before they play their first match, which will be against HellRaisers.
Zellsis had similar problems to his teammate freakazoid, as his girlfriend Katherine explained on Twitter that USPS delievered his passport and visa to Russia late. However, in a later tweet, she later revealed that his passport and visa had arrived and he made it onto a flight.
As mentioned previously, Swole Patrol's first match at the EPICENTER 2018 Wild Card will be against HellRaisers tomorrow at 4AM EDT. The wild card is played in a double-elimination bracket, with two teams qualifying for the main event of EPICENTER 2018. Should Swole Patrol make it through, it would be their first major event.
