Rogue look to replace mCe
Rogue are on the hunt for a new coach to take the place of Matthew "mCe" Elmore according to a report from DBLTAP's Jarek "DeKay" Lewis. Dust2.us has learned that mCe remains with the organization as an analyst while the team searches for his replacement.
Rogue have had a lackluster return to North America after a surprisingly strong performance at the FACEIT Major in London — they currently sit at a 2-8 record in ESL Pro League Season 8 and an even 4-4 split in ECS Season 6. The loss of their in-game leader Casper "cadiaN" Møller shortly after their return likely contributed towards the results as it left the team scrambling to fill the slot, eventually seeing them settle with Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend after a trial period over 4D chess mastermind Pujan "FNS" Mehta.
mCe previously played for SoaR and Dignitas, helping his team to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 7 before eventually being removed from the active lineup and making the transition to a coaching role.
This leaves Rogue's roster with:
- Daniel "vice" Kim
- Spencer "Hiko" Martin
- Hunter "SicK" Mims
- Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
- Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend
Rogue are set to play against eUnited in a double-header for ESL Pro League Season 8 later tonight, with their first matchup on Nuke set to kick off at 10:40 PM EDT.
