Dignitas fe add milk
Dignitas have revealed their replacement for Catherine "CAth" Leroux to be Kiara "milk" Makua.
The move is hardly a surprise, as Makua has played the entirety of the ESEA Intermediate season with the team in lieu of Leroux. Dignitas are currently 5-8 in the league, with the season nearing its end.
milk first appeared on the radar of the top female scene when she attended Intel Challenge Katowice 2017 with CLG Red as a stand-in for Klaudia "klaudia" Beczkiewicz. At that event, CLG Red were defeated by domestic rivals Dignitas, and finished 3/4th.
As for Leroux, she had been playing this ESEA season with Team X — a newly emerged female team created around former CLG Red player Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey and Bri "masq" B. — even before her official departure from Dignitas.
Dignitas fe now have the following roster:
- Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido
- Carolyn "artStar" Noquez
- Amanda "rain" smith
- Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie
- Kiara "milk" Makua
- David "Xp3" Garrido (Coach)
Team captain EMUHLEET had the following to say about the addition of milk:
We're so excited to have milk join our team because she has shown enormous dedication and passion to improve. We believe that adding milk to our team gives us a strong, fresh start to continue our process of reaching our goals as a team. Not only were we impressed by her skill, but her positive attitude creates a motivational environment for us to succeed.
All of the Dignitas women will be participating in the upcoming WESG Americas qualifiers for the United States and Canada. They will also plan to attend the next Fragadelphia event, as well as the Intel Challenge Katowice 2018.
Dust2.us has learned that ahead of each of these events, the team will bootcamp at the Philadephia 76er's training facilities. Dignitas was acquired by the NBA organization in late 2016.
