OCEAN launches Canadian WESG mix
Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien is heading up a Canadian mix team of well-known players as they join in with their nation's WESG qualifier, hosted by WorldGaming. OCEAN has form in WESG qualifiers, having competed in both previous iterations of the competition's world finals.
Joining OCEAN will be reportedly former teammates Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen and David "DAVEY" Stafford, where boxr is currently in a state of flux after the latter player had been seen trialing for ex-Dignitas, and Estonian journeyman Kristjan "FejtZ" Allsaar left to become a stand-in for various teams.
Joining these three will be former subtLe player Ellis "els" Clay and FPL Hero Marian "tyfoon" Lesnic filling out the roster, with the latter set to lose his hard-fought Moldovan flag when he competes in the competition.
When they sign-up, they'll become the 45th team in the Canadian qualifier, lining up alongside some MDL teams and a few top level mixes, including Matthew "Wardell" Bowman's mix alongside Joshua "steel" Nissan and Advanced teams LiviD and Grizzlys.
The lineup for OCEAN's mix will be:
- Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien
- Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen
- David "DAVEY" Stafford
- Ellis "els" Clay
- Marian "tyfoon" Lesnic
