steel set to compete in WESG Canada
Joshua "steel" Nissan has been informed that he is able to compete in the upcoming WESG Canada qualifiers, by organizers WorldGaming.
The current concern is if steel would be able to join the team in China if they secure qualification there. Whilst steel has been given the go-ahead by regional organizer WorldGaming; whether or not Alisports, the main organizer of WESG, would allow him to compete in the final is still up in the air, steel has since suggested he believes that is the cause of the inital confusion around his status.
The team steel would compete with is set to be Wardell & Friends, which is effectively the UDED team just without Andy "vSa" Xu, who steel will be replacing. This team would mean he'd link up with the other two Canadian members of Ghost, Matthew "Wardell" Bowman and Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik.
Assuming all goes well and steel can compete in all parts of the competition, the Wardell & Friends roster would be as follows:
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik
- Matthew "Wardell" Bowman
- Kaleb "moose" Jayne
- Anthony "gMd" Guimond
On another note, this also clears up concerns about Braxton "swag" Pierce's ability to take part in the USA competition with Swole Patrol.
