Excelerate have secured the services of former Gorilla Gang and Swole Patrol coach Corey "ruin" Hartog for the duration of Fragadelphia. The 27-year-old coach has been searching for a squad after stepping down from Gorilla Gang over two months ago. The Excelerate core have been without a coach since Michael "agM" Abood returned to the server in the middle of June, and will look to test the coach at Fragadelphia 12 this upcoming week.
The move follows a middling MDL season for the Excelerate roster, who found themselves unable to match their Season 27 performance and ended Season 28 in 12th place as part of a five-way-tie. With the upcoming MDL season being a promotion season, Excelerate are looking to stabilize and work towards a playoffs berth in Season 29.
