s0m released by compLexity
compLexity has announced the release of Sam "s0m" Oh, who was signed with the organization as a streamer.
s0m was signed by compLexity in February, on the back of the player gaining recognition for his performance in MDL and Rank S. He was forced to sit out of MDL after an age limit was added for the division.
In the video released by compLexity with the announcement, Jason "1" Lake discussed the aspirations the organization had for s0m, initially having planned to have him try out with the team upon turning sixteen.
However, the team's plans shifted after the additions of Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan, as well as the team's victory at the recent Americas Minor and their qualification for the FACEIT Major.
Time constraints between then and the Major, as well as complications related to s0m's age and his education ultimately caused the organization to release him.
s0m has stated on Twitter that he is open to offers from both MDL and Pro League teams.
