Rickeh to replace XotiC due to passport issues
As Dust2.us reported earlier, former CLG player Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland appeared on the Splyce ESEA roster yesterday.
Dust2.us has now confirmed with the team that not only will Rickeh finish out the season with the team, but that he will do so in the place of 17-year-old Zack "XotiC" Elshani, who is in his first Professional season.
According to the same source, the team believes the Australian will be eligible to participate despite joining the roster after the trade deadline. Dust2.us has been unable to get confirmation from ESL/WESA at this juncture.
The reason for the switch up is apparently due to difficulties that XotiC faced in securing a passport, as the squad looks ahead to the possibility of having to play ESL Pro League Relegation, which will be held in Leicester, United Kingdom in May.
Splyce's roster for their two remaining EPL matches and EPL Relegation (if necessary) will be as follows:
- Taylor "Drone" Johnson
- Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen
- David "DAVEY" Stafford
- Stephen "reltuC" Cutler
- Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
- Zack "XotiC" Elshani (Inactive)
- Zachary "Eley" Stauffer (Coach)
- Taylor "Tailored" Broomall (Analyst)
The move will reunite Rickeh with long-time CLG teammate Stephen "reltuC" Cutler, who recently joined the team after playing in MDL with Ronin.
Dust2.us does not currently know if the change will become permanent.
