Gfinity Winter Series continues; ex-Iceberg and BlackOut upset in Lower Bracket
This week saw Round 3 of the Upper Bracket and Round 2 of the Lower Bracket played out in the Gfinity Winter Series 2018.
As would be expected from the two top MDL teams, both eUnited and Swole Patrol made quick work of Etherian and Most Wanted, sending the two teams into the Lower Bracket where they will have a chance to make their runback next week. Both winning teams now wait in the Upper Bracket Finals.
This week the Lower Bracket was shaken up after ex-Iceberg fell to Glockoma and Armada took down BlackOut. These come as startling results considering both MDL teams haven't been in particularly weak form as of late, though BlackOut has been in a state of flux as they restructure their roster.
The Brazilians of oNe continued to show their resiliency after being sent to the Lower Bracket by Etherian by eliminating Enter 2-0. oNe has proven themselves to be a team that should never be counted out, especially after their recent third place finish at WESG World Finals.
The past weeks' results for the Upper and Lower Brackets can be found below:
