RONIN fall to Impact in Gfinity lower bracket
In the first match of the lower bracket of the Gfinity Winter Series, RONIN fell to ESEA Main's Impact. RONIN initially fell to ex-Iceberg in the opening round, and now find themselves eliminated earlier then expected while Impact forfeited their initial game against eUnited to find themselves in the lower bracket.
The first map, Mirage, went easily towards the way of RONIN, with Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce putting up big numbers. The second map saw RONIN unable to put up a Terrorist side, eventually falling to Sepehr "Sepehr" Saljooghi and Impact on Cobblestone.
David "Xp3" Garrido's men yet again couldn't find any answers on the T side, and fell on Cache as well. This time Joseph "Jazo" Azo was the one to style on the MDL side, picking up 26 kills over the map.
This result sees Impact move on to face Arial Arise in the second round of the loser's bracket. Arial Arise took down Glockoma but fell to Swole Patrol in the upper bracket.
RONIN still has the MDL playoffs to look forward to however, and will face off against eUnited this evening.
