FakeOut Nation banned from ESEA for match throwing
FakeOut Nation has received a ban from ESEA for throwing a match against Bravado during ESEA's Main division, ESEA announced on their website. The five players of Chase "lowrider" Releford, Riley "Reality" Fusch, CMX, exotic, and Aurele "quick" Hebert have received one season bans as a result.
In the forum post, ESEA outlined how FakeOut Nation had acquired a large lead at the half, and then proceeded to throw the second half of the game, with players not killing defusers, not planting the bomb, and more. This meant that the team could not face Bravado until the final of the Main playoffs and would increase their chances of moving into MDL.
It is currently unknown if a different team will replace them in the playoffs, if the remaining players on the roster will be allowed to play, or if their opponent will be given a default win.
