CheckSix add Sneaky, move joseph to coach
Yet another roster change greets the CheckSix squad this week. With their coach and in-game leader Corey "flashstep" Parks stepping back from the team a week ago, they were left to use Josh "joshbM" Blier to fill the role; however, that offered only a temporary solution to their problem, and now the team have David "Sneaky" Polster to occupy that vacant space.
To make way for Sneaky, the newcomer of Joseph "joseph" Burkhart will take a step back from the active roster of the team, moving to fill flashstep's coaching role for the time being. The team aims to use the coach role to help joseph develop as a player, providing him the opportunity to focus and observe on how teams at this level play. His lack of experience at a premier level may have contributed towards the removal, although Sneaky will be in a similar situation as he looks to make his debut on a MDL roster.
As an eighteen-year-old in-game leader who has played in Main with RiFt for the last three seasons, Sneaky will face a whole new level of competition as he looks to close out season 27 with CheckSix. The team currently sits at 18th in the MDL standings with a 4-7 record, so their remaining six matches will be crucial to decide whether they remain in MDL for the next season.
CheckSix's roster is now comprised of:
- Josh "joshbM" Blier
- Jacob "L0NER" Webster
- Nassir "rugrat" Francique
- Daniel "virtus" Carrillo
- David "Sneaky" Polster
- Joseph "joseph" Burkhart (coach)
The team already made their debut last night against Não Tem Como, picking up a 16-6 victory as Lincoln "fnx" Lau and co. continue to play with over 100 ping from Brazil. Their next challenge will see them face h00liGaNz later tonight as they look to add a second victory to their belt with Sneaky.
