hazed joins Muffin Lightning
The 28 year-old American will be rejoining a team after being removed from OpTic following ESL One Cologne. With OpTic, other than coaching the team for a brief time, he notably placed top 4 at IEM Sydney and top 8 at Cologne. Back in CLG, hazed also placed top 8 at a Major, MLG Columbus 2016, which makes him one of the more accomplished players in North America.
He joins up with famed Muffin Lightning for the next season of ESEA Premier, where the team will face off against the likes of Gale Force, Mythic, and Rise Nation. This team notably played in the ELEAGUE Americas Minor after the disbanding of Echo Fox, where they exited the tournament in last. We reached out to SileNt for a comment and he had this to say:
Well after a very disappointing season and us parting ways with our org, the original plan was to stay together as a team, but I believe sancz was unhappy with our team and it made things pretty difficult at times, so once he got that offer from Ghost he took it. I think it was better for our team and his career. Once he left we took a few weeks off to decide what we wanted to do and then around that time hazed finally was done playing with OpTic. It's no secret our team has always been really close to the original NetCodeGuides/CLG lineup so to us it was a no brainer that we wanted to pick him up, not only because we know him very well but because he brings much needed experience to the team and he has a strong personality which helps so much. With that being said, we'l lbe playing MDL this season and any upcoming qualifiers with him. As always, we're looking for a organization to play under if anyone is interested you can contact me on twitter @SileNtCSGO or email [email protected]
