Legends Cup Day 1 results
The first matches of the upper semifinals ended much as expected, with international sides PRIDE and 5POWER taking down their ESEA MDL opponents Etherian and Swole Patrol.
Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and Swole Patrol then made up for their loss by defeating Etherian 19-17 in overtime, and eliminating them from contention in the event.
The last match of the day took place in the Upper Bracket Final with the two international sides facing off. Ultimately, the Poles of PRIDE were able to sweep aside 5POWER and David "Toy" Han, securing a spot for themselves in the Grand Final.
With these results in, Swole Patrol and 5POWER will now face off in the best-of-one Lower Bracket Final, which will be played at 8 PM EST. Following that, the winners will square off with PRIDE in the BO3 Grand Final to see which team will walk away with the bulk of the remaining $20,000 prize pool.
