OpTic announce new roster
After what appeared to be an implosion of their CS:GO team, OpTic have announced a new roster with completely new parts. Returning to the organization are Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan, linking up with three Danish players.
Joining the two Americans are three members of the North set-up. Joining from their main team are Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and René "cajunb" Borg, and from their Academy will be Nicklas "gade" Gade on a loan until October 1st. According to a recent tweet from him, Chet "ImAPet" Singh will also be remaining as coach with the team.
The three players joining would hardly be a coincidence, especially considering that new VP of Esports at OpTic's parent company, Jacob "TheMaelk" Toft-Andersen, previously held that role at North as well.
The new OpTic roster is:
- René "cajunb" Borg
- Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke
- Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz
- Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan
- Nicklas "gade" Gade (Loan)
- Chet "ImAPet" Singh (Coach)
The fate of the previous team is as-of-yet unconfirmed. The remainder of the last OpTic team are:
- Adam "friberg" Friberg
- Aleksi "allu" Jalli
- Kevin "HS" Tarn
