Media: Canadian organization Gaimin Gladiators scrap Danish lineup
According to HLTV, Canadian esports organization Gaimin Gladiators have suddenly scrapped their Danish CS2 lineup, informing the squad last night that their contracts had been terminated. The Canadian organization entered the Danish scene in April 2024 after previously hosting a number of NA lineups after first being founded as Oceanus in 2019.
The sudden termination of the Danish lineup comes after a middling period for Magnus "Nodios" Olsen for co, with the team sitting far outside of the top 30 on HLTV while also missing out on the second Major of 2024. Overall, Gaimin Gladiator's venture in the Danish scene largely failed to bear fruit, with multiple roster changes failing to generate the success the team saw while playing under the ECSTATIC organization at the start of the year.
Gaimin Gladiators consisted of:
-
Tobias "kraghen" Kragh Jensen
-
Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen
-
Magnus "Nodios" Olsen
-
Fredrik "roeJ" Christensen
-
Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi
-
Peter "casle" Ardenskjold (Coach)
-
Jason "salazar" Salazar (Inactive)
-
Patrick "Patti" Larsen (Inactive)
Gaimin Gladiators have yet to confirm the termination of the team, however Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi announced his departure from the team earlier today, with more expected to follow in the coming days.
