Lumen Impact reform with Russian-speaking lineup

Daria "daria" Anokhina has informed Dust2.us of the reformation of Lumen, with the ESL Impact squad aiming to compete in ESL Impact League Season 7 in 2025. The Lumen lineup is formed from the remaining players on FLUFFY MAFIA, with the trio leaving amidst an uncertain future for the organization. They are joined by Blue Otter Karma rifler Olga "Olya" Kryvulych and Kira "Akame" Imeeva, a player daria describes as being new to the Impact scene. The Eastern European stack are interestingly set to communicate in Russian as every member of the team speaks it fluently as their first or second language.

While playing under the FLUFFY MAFIA brand in ESL Impact League Season 6, the Lumen core finished the division in second place with a 5-2 record with wins over all but the cream of the Impact crop in the form of FlyQuest RED and TSM Impact. With this, the team will have a direct invite into Season 7 of the league.

This fact is convenient for the Impact stack as after Season 7 the Impact League will use the VRS to determine invites, with the squad's European-supermajority likely precluding them from an invite to the NA league.
