Mexican ESEA Advanced squad pick up experienced Colombian IGL
Yesterday orgless Mexican lineup MarcaRegistrada announced the addition of experienced Colombian IGL Andrés "spamzzy" Correa to the teams's ranks, replacing Francisco "Medusa" Huizar Cortes on the LATAM roster. spamzzy's return to the roster comes after a relatively quiet 2024 for the Colombian IGL, having only played a handful of matches with Team Colombia as part of the IESF 2024 qualifiers.
Despite his lack of recent matches, Spamzzy is one of the most experienced players in the LATAM CS scene, spending the majority of his career on teams like VAULT and Infinity. The most successful period in spamzzy's career in CS:GO came in 2019 when spamzzy played two seasons of ESL Pro League alongside a young Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa.
His addition to MarcaRegistrada after a mixed run in ESEA Advanced Season 51, finishing the regular season with a 7-7 record. This represents a step back for the lineup after making playoffs in Season 50 and claiming wins over ESL Challenger League teams like Take Flyte and Party Astronauts in online qualifiers earlier in the year.
MarcaRegistrada are now:
-
Jorge "b1" Alberto Treviño Díaz
-
Arturo "AMC" Morales Carrasco
-
Jose "Majesticzz" Luis Salazar
-
Marcos "Jardani" Contreras
-
Andrés "spamzzy" Correa
MarcaRegistrada await the start of ESEA Advanced Season 52 on January 13th.
