MIBR drop drop in as IGL
MIBR has switched up their internal structure as Raphael "exit" Lacerda will no longer be the team's captain and IGL. Former FURIA standout André "drop" Abreu has taken over the role, according to Dust2 Brasil.
The change comes taste team has struggled in recent weeks. The Brazilian lineup failed to record a single win at the Esports World Cup, failed to qualify for IEM Rio and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, while finishing as the runners-up in the CCT South American Series #2.
The players themselves have acknowledged the poor form, with exit describing the start to the Fall season as "terrible". He was also the first one to mention internal changes, without alluding to what those changes might be.
This will be drop's first time operating as an IGL with the 20-year-old taking the role at IEM Cologne 2024. So far his team has already taken a map off of HEROIC who they are currently playing to open up the event.
