Bwills leaves Bad News Bears; robby joins from Valors
Brendan "Bwills" Williams has left Bad News Bears, Dust2.us has confirmed. In his place, Robert "robby" Brown has made the jump from Valors. The twenty-year-old player recently helped Valors qualify to the inaugural season of ESL Challenger League through ESEA Premier Season 39 Relegation.
Bwills joined Bad News Bears at the end of October as a replacement for the now-retired Jonathan "Jonji" Carey. During his time with the team, Bwills helped Bad News Bears win three ESEA Cash Cups along with Mustache Masters 2021.
His departure along with Paytyn "junior" Johnson's reported move to Extra Salt/Complexity will come as a massive hit to the team's firepower as Bwills, junior, and Michael "Swisher" Schmid were the team's three highest rated players during ESEA Premier Season 39. During Season 39, Bwills was the team's second-highest rated player with a 1.22 rating over 24 maps. Bwills declined to comment on where he's headed, but he confirmed he will be staying in CS:GO.
To newer followers of the domestic North American scene, the addition of robby may be surprising as he only recently returned from a seven-month hiatus after the breakup of Eclipse in mid-2021. Prior to this robby was a member of a number of notable lineups including Vireo.pro, Party Astronauts, and MAC-51 in 2018 and 2019. More recently, he posted a 1.05 rating over ten maps in ESEA Advanced Season 39 playoffs. This move will require him to step up in a big way due to the aforementioned exit of Bad News Bear's three heaviest hitters.
robby's departure from the team also leaves Valors on the lookout for two new players as the fourteen-year-old Dwight "Calix" Nguyen had to leave the team due to being too young to compete in ESL Challenger League.
The two teams are currently:
Bad News Bears | Valors |
* Reportedly joining Extra Salt/Complexity |
