cxzi exits Triumph
Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk has announced his departure from Triumph following the team's exit from ESEA Premier Season 39 playoffs. cxzi's departure from Triumph comes after spending four months with the uncontracted lineup.
During his time with Triumph, cxzi made the transition to being the squad's primary AWPer and is looking to continue in that role with his next squad. In ESEA Premier Season 39, cxzi posted a 1.21 rating over the course of 24 maps, the seventh highest rated player in the division among non-stand-ins.
When contacted by Dust2.us cxzi cited internal disagreements and a motivational mismatch in the team as reasons for his departure.
Triumph are now:
- Wesley "viz" Harris
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Jeff "RZU" Ngo
- Brennan "grape" Greer
- Calvin "becker" Becker(Coach)
Triumph will need to find a replacement for cxzi before ESL Challenger League Season 40 is set to start on January 18th. Luckily for Triumph, with the player break right around the corner the team will be able to seek out a replacement without having any tournament commitments other than ESEA Cash Cups for nearly a month.
