Lotus returns with new roster

Some familiar faces have found a new home.

The recent news of Limitless parting ways with its women's roster, the Angels, after having already announced the departure of three players, left an air of uncertainty over the team's former players. Lydia "Fawx" Dalton and Mira "mira" Luna, the duo that stayed with Limitless Angels until the last day have now found themselves a new home, alongside former Angels General Manager Victor "Ink", on Lotus.

The three had previously played under the Lotus banner in February after departing Tsunami and before joining Limitless, but this time they are joined by three different players.

Two of the new Lotus players, Erin "erin" Luna and Cecelia "Celia" Caton have already played with Fawx and Mira recently on some ESL Impact Cash Cups and during the Thunderpick World Championship NA Female Wildcard Qualifier. Celia joins after playing the start of the previous ESEA Advanced season with OutGoing, where she was one of the best fraggers of the team before leaving after six games, while Erin, who was a previous sub and was helping the team during tryouts, impressed the squad with her ability to play the anchor roles, and outplayed the other contenders to the role, according to Ink.

To finalize the roster, the team has found a new, yet experienced player to lead the team. Nikki "Axessor" Sahm comes into an ESL Impact season for the first time despite having played ten seasons of ESEA Main previously. The new IGL will be helped by Chance "chnce" G., who will be stepping in as the coach of the squad, despite not having previous experience in coaching an ESL Impact side.

The new Lotus roster is:

  • United States Lydia "Fawx" Dalton

  • United States Mira "mira" Luna

  • United States Cecelia "Celia" Caton

  • Erin "erin" Luna

  • United States Nikki "Axessor" Sahm

  • Canada Chance "chnce" G. (Coach)
