CENSRD disband; rdb retires
The near-certain likelihood of CENSRD disbanding, previously reported by Dust2.us, has come to fruition. Christopher "Swahn" Swahn has "pronounced the team dead" following their elimination from ESEA Premier Season 37 Relegation at the hands of X13. CENSRD are the second team to be relegated, with the first being CRONEM, who forfeited both of their matches.
This morning after Swahn declared their team dead CENSRD's coach, Ryan "rdb" Brunetti, announced his retirement from CS:GO as a result of his personal commitments outside of esports.
With just Swahn and David "Delta9" Shafer remaining from the core, there is no feasible way to maintain the CENSRD roster spot in ESEA Advanced Season 38, a reality acknowledged by Swahn's tweet and previously expressed desire to explore other options.
If ChocoCheck also disband in the next couple of days and vacate a spot in Premier Season 38, then the winner of a tiebreaker between X13 and Coldest Riding could still be promoted to ESEA's top flight.
