Big Chillin trial bron in place of Melloh
Big Chillin have swapped out Brendan "Melloh" Mello for Bron "bron" Mills, who joins the team on trial. The change to Big Chillin's lineup comes after a 1-2 start to ESEA Premier Season 37.
Big Chillin's Season 37 campaign has thus far seen the team take two 2-0 losses to Secret Club and Triumph while claiming a relatively one-sided 2-0 win over SKDC. During the six maps, Melloh has lagged behind the majority of his teammates, putting up a 0.86 rating — the second lowest on the team behind Matt "dvl" Buechel.
His replacement, bron, returns to the Big Chillin brand after being a part of their ESEA Premier Season 36 lineup that disbanded in February following a poor 0-3 start to the season. After being dropped by Big Chillin, the team finished the season as The Commission, being demoted after winning only a single match. During the campaign bron posted a 0.96 rating over 19 maps, a decent rating considering his team only won three maps over the course of the season.
Regarding the addition of bron, Big Chillin's co-owner William "Aphotic" DeVoe provided Dust2.us with the following statement:
We are trialing Bron, a player we feel is going to be a great asset to our team, and sadly had to make the decision to have a player step down. Melloh, unfortunately, was that player. He has made an enormous amount of improvement, especially during playoffs/relegation, and as of this moment he is openly seeking offers for another team. Nothing but the highest recommendation for Melloh as a player and of course a great friend to the team.
With the addition of bron, Big Chillin are now:
- Matt "dvl" Buechel
- Michael "Munk" Klotz
- Blake "Elk" Swinson
- Devin "Xzen" Barber
- Bron "bron" Mills (Trial)
- William "Switchy" Locher (Coach)
bron will make his debut with Big Chillin in a difficult week four match against Extra Salt on May 25th.
