Dignitas fe shifts immediate focus to VALORANT following addition of Stefanie
On Monday, Dignitas fe announced the addition of Stefanie "Stefanie" Jones to complete their VALORANT roster, with the player arriving to fill the gap left by Kiara "milk" Makua's departure in April.
When contacted by Dust2.us, Dignitas' VP of Talent Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo explained that Stefanie does not have any CS:GO experience, and that the team was "unsure" about how much CS:GO they would be playing in the near future.
However, sapphiRe did not rule out playing the game should there be a tournament the team wished to compete in, stating that Dignitas fe "don't want to abandon [CS:GO] yet" and that if they were to compete in an event, they would still have the option to utilize Lynnie "artStar" Noquez, who has been an inactive member of the team since April last year.
"The priority for the summer is VALORANT," sapphiRe explained to Dust2.us, "but we're not ready to say we're completely abandoning CS:GO. We tried to play both at the same time this Winter and results suffered because of it, so priority is VALORANT for now."
Although they signed up to compete in Season 36, Dignitas fe forfeited all of their matches at the start of the season and were marked as a dead roster, with the team not signing up to compete in Season 37. The core of the team has taken part in every league season since Season 18, originally under the Karma and Selfless fe banners prior to being signed by Dignitas.
Dignitas fe now have:
- Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido
- Amanda "rain" Smith
- Melisa "Theia" Mundorff
- Juliana "showliana" Maransaldi
- Stefanie "Stefanie" Jones
- Lynnie "artStar" Noquez (Inactive)
