NRG and Nouns complete a Monday sweep | ECL S47 Roundup Day 18
NRG continued their winning ways, taking a 2-0 win on Monday. Nouns, playing their last matches with Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado, also got their important wins to ensure they remained in the conversation for first place in league play.
NRG 2-0 Mythic
NRG has continued its pattern of winning in the ESL Challenger League, securing another 2-0 series sweep to go 11-3 on the season and put itself in second place, leapfrogging Party Astronauts. Mythic, who have been a strong opponent throughout the year, crumbled against NRG as they lost 13-5 on Overpass and 13-6 on Nuke.
Limitless 0-2 Nouns
It was a tight contest for Nouns, who scraped by for both wins across Ancient and Vertigo. Limitless, who are currently second-to-last, kept things close throughout the night as they fell 10-13 on Ancient to start off the night and then were unable to close things out on their T-side of Vertigo as they lost 11-13.
