BOSS & Nouns earn invites to Jönköping CQ

ESL announced this afternoon that Nouns and BOSS had secured spots for the Closed Qualifier of ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024. As of the ESL World Ranking cutoff on March 5th for the event, BOSS and Nouns were ranked 3rd and 4th, respectively, behind Complexity and M80.

Nouns and BOSS' invites to the closed qualifier comes after a series of decent results for the teams who recently participated in the PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR where both teams were unfortunately eliminated. Nouns had made a serious challenger for a spot at IEM Dallas in the closed qualifier, however they fell to Liquid in the final.

BOSS finished third in that same qualifier but made a serious challenge at the RMR earlier this month, which has given the team confidence going forward.

M80, who are second in the North American rankings, received an invite to the Closed Qualifier, but decided to turn down the opportunity. Donald "SyykoNT" Muir, VP of Esports at M80 told Dust2.us that the team already has a bootcamp in Europe planned for the same week as the qualifier before heading to IEM Chengdu. Due to schedule congestion, M80 is focusing on the events they've already qualified for as they look to avoid burnout.
