ESL Impact Season 5 North America Viewer Guide

ESL Impact Season 5 North America starts today with some bangers. Before you go and watch today's matchups, Dust2.us brings you the usual viewer guide, to ensure that you know what's going on, how the league works, and who's playing who. Unlike last season, there aren't many new names making their debut, but the ones who are, are exciting.

Dates and Format

ESL Impact Season 5 North America starts today and will run until April 11th. Games will be played on two days every week, i.e. two games on Wednesday and another two on Thursday. Games are also scheduled to start at the same time, 07:30PM. These matches are all BO3 series, from start to finish, with teams playing each other only once.

The league features eight teams, with the top two advancing to the LAN Finals, happening in Dallas at the end of May. The top four teams will receive an invite for next season, while the bottom four teams will have to go through qualifiers if they want to play the group stage again.

The Teams

From ESL Impact Season 4 NA, the returning teams are FlyQuest RED, Shimmer, Limitless Angels (formerly known as Tsunami Sirens), and Karma. Joining these four squads are Nouns fe, WG Bandits, COVEN, and cleanup crew, all of which won the first and second open qualifiers.
