Depth look to get reck-less
Depth are set to play the fourth ESEA Autumn Cash Cup with Ethan "reck" Serrano, who fills the spot left vacant after Bryan "HavoK" Kuzawinski stepped down from the roster ahead of the ESEA MDL Season 35 playoffs.
When contacted by Dust2.us, Wyatt "snav" Phillippi confirmed that the team are trying out reck, and that he is "one of the most likely players to join unless he gets a better offer he can't pass up."
As a part of Secret Club, reck averaged a 1.07 rating over 25 maps in MDL Season 35, with the team finishing the regular season with a 13-3 record. In playoffs, Secret Club took down Depth, Rebirth, and Mythic before being eliminated 0-2 in the consolidation final by New England Whalers, ending their MDL season in third place overall.
Depth, meanwhile, were dealt a blow just ahead of their playoff campaign as HavoK was forced to step down from the roster due to Hurricane Zeta doing extensive damage to his mother's house, leaving him without internet.
Depth will play the fourth Autumn Cash Cup with:
- Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
- Shane "shane" Dressler
- Derek "dare" Brown
- Kyle "KEL" Murray
- Ethan "reck" Serrano
Signups for the fourth ESEA Autumn Cash Cup will remain open until 1:55 PM EDT on Saturday.
