05:54PM - That's all she wrote, folks. 13-7, 1-2.

Look, it was good, but EliGE not showing up for a third map in a row is a little selfish of him, don't you think? Complexity fall in the third map of an almost three hour series in what is an insane thriller. The team will definitely feel hard-done, but the toughest test is tomorrow against Liquid. Both teams will be searching to be NA's likely best team at the Major, so it's all up to them.

05:47PM - Win a pistol, still go behind

No, because Complexity trying to string any sort of rounds together is just brutal. The won the pistol and cleaned up to tie it at 7-7, but then just couldn't win that all important first gun round. Now they're now down 9-7 and FURIA still have their number, no matter what.

05:41PM - Halftime, a strong half for the Americans

FURIA went out to an early lead, but Complexity roared back to make it a 5-7 T-side map on what is a very CT-side affair. Hopefully the team can somehow push through to the end and avoid Liquid at all costs.

05:28PM - Okay, so it's Nuke and we're on T-side

It's not an easy time, but Complexity are making it work for right now. They are getting plants and looking confident on their T-side even if the 2-5 scoreline doesn't show that. The team does not have a lot of official reps on Nuke, but this might have been something they've cooked up in practice. Hard to say, but let's hope it's competitive to the end.

04:59PM - COMPLEXITY WIN VERTIGO 16-13

THEY ACTUALLY DID IT! Complexity have come back, fighting tooth and nail to get into this game. They have reached a third map and put themselves still in contention. What an absolute reversal of fortunes.

04:52PM - COMPLEXITY ARE SOMEHOW DOING IT?

Look, I'm gonna be honest, I totally had Complexity losing and set up the liveblog to write that up, but somehow something changed they've become better. They just won T-side OT. What the hell.

04:43PM - WAIT IT ISN'T DONE YET

HOLY SHIT WE'RE IN OVERTIME! Complexity have come all the way back to tie it up and somehow make this a competitive series once more. However, EliGE looks like he needs a bandage since he's been biting his fingers too much. Ouch.

04:17PM - Yeah, we're sad. 4-8.

Down already again, it's not looking good for Complexity on the T-side. Even when they won an amazing clutch, they don't react with the kind of emotion that you would expect. It's not going to be good for this squad to fail right now, especially when Liquid is up next.

04:03PM - We're off again, Complexity already down

This is just brutal. Complexity are clearly struggling against FURIA who look like a strong machine in the face of adversity. It's brutal to watch as the Americans are finding it difficult. 4-2 down right now, with Complexity playing defense.

03:36PM - So close, but so far. 0-1 down, time to hope for a turnaround

It was not a good outing for Grim and floppy as the duo struggled in the opening map of the series. EliGE was dominant, but he couldn't do everything to help the squad over the line for a win.

Now it's time to focus Vertigo and hope that the squad can find their footing.

03:28PM - It's literally a nailbiter

It's 10-9 as of writing, but man, this game couldn't be any closer. Someone is going to take a risk that will pay off, but it is an incredibly tough game so far. Complexity are doing everything they can to win their map pick.

03:09PM - FURIA and Complexity are getting it cooking

Complexity had an incredibly uncharacteristicly poor T-side on Overpass. They're down 4-8 heading into their CT-side, so there is some hope that they will be able to pull off the comeback get the early advantage in the series.

02:40PM - ODDIK go up, 1-0

It's not worrying just yet, but a win for ODDIK means that Complexity have to win against FURIA in order to avoid Liquid in the 2-1 bracket. The two sides facing one another would be an absolute disaster for North America as both organizations are titans within the region and have a long history at these events.

02:25PM - We have our first team to go to the Major!

Imperial have done it! An insane run from the squad as they only give up 14 rounds the ENTIRE EVENT.

01:42PM - Imperial go up 1-0

Now into the Brazilian games, Imperial have continued their dominance so far at the Americas RMR by taking the first map against paiN and do so in convincing fashion. paiN will have to battle back as they hope to make it the Major 3-0.

01:23PM - M80 beat Wildcard 2-1

It's done. M80 survive Day 2 and send Wildcard back to the United States, as yet another NA team exits the Americas RMR. With a solid CT-side, M80 closed the map 13-3 on the back of a strong performance from slaxz-, who ended Inferno with 21 kills and just two deaths. Only Complexity remains to play today, from the North American teams.

01:16PM - M80 lead comfortably at the half

It's looking like Wildcard are not getting another comeback as M80 lead 10-2 at the half. A near-perfect CT-side is what stanislaw and co. need to overcome M80.

12:52PM - M80 v. Wildcard decider live NOW!

The two North American teams are one map away from elimination or survival. Who gets to keep playing in Monterrey and who is going back home? M80 lead 1-0 on the CT-side of Inferno.

12:40PM - Liquid send BOSS packing

While Wildcard and M80 rest for their third map, Liquid have defeated BOSS 13-4 on Ancient, winning the series 2-0. Despite this last map result, BOSS showed up in Monterrey at an amazing level and they went down swinging. All respect for these players and coach who have been through so much.

12:35PM - Comeback completed; Liquid keep on leading

Wildcard have done it, they have reversed the 7-5 deficit into a 13-8 win on M80's pick and sent the series to a decider map, which will be Inferno. Liquid are just two rounds away from beating BOSS 2-0.

12:30PM - Wildcard comeback; Liquid lead 8-4 at the half

Wildcard have turned things around in Vertigo and are just three rounds away from sending the series to a decider map. Liquid are close to sending BOSS home with an 8-4 lead going into the T-side of Ancient.

12:15PM - Wildcard very close to elimination; BOSS lead early

BOSS have come out of the gate swinging on map two, Ancient, against Liquid with a 3-1 lead. Meanwhile, M80 are capitalizing on the T-side of their Vertigo pick with a 7-5 lead at the half. Reminder that if Wildcard lose this map, they are eliminated from the Americas RMR. BOSS are in the same situation

11:36AM - Liquid strike first against BOSS

BOSS only got the pistol round and two gun rounds during the second half of Inferno, meaning Liquid comfortably cruised to a 13-8 win to claim the first map of the series. One more map will keep Liquid in Monterrey, sending BOSS home. Meanwhile, Wildcard and M80 are back on the servers, now on M80's Vertigo.

11:36AM - M80 strike early against Wildcard

While BOSS won the second half pistol round against Liquid, M80 have stolen Wildcard's map pick and are currently up 1-0 in the series. One more map win and M80 eliminate Wildcard from the Americas RMR.

11:30AM - Liquid and BOSS tied at the half; M80 close to winning Mirage

BOSS are not going down easily as the orgless team is putting up a fight against Liquid. They had a 5-2 lead on the CT-side, but Liquid woke up at the right time and both teams are tied at the half 6-6. As for Wildcard and M80, dephh has been leading the charge as M80 currently lead 11-5 on the T-side of Wildcard's Mirage pick.

11:00AM - Games are under way

M80 will start on the CT-side of Mirage, picked by Wildcard. Liquid picked Inferno and BOSS chose to start on the CT-side as well. The maps have already started!

10:45AM - M80 or Wildcard, BOSS or Liquid; two will go home today

The bracket decided that at least two North American teams will go home today, as M80 face Wildcard and BOSS face Liquid. The two BO3 series have very different feelings, as Liquid are clear favorites to beat BOSS, while neither M80 nor Wildcard seem to be comfortably better than the other. Either way, NA can only, at most, get three teams to the Major.

10:30AM - Day 3 ready to begin

Day 2 had heartbreak written all over it, as three North American teams were eliminated, NRG, Nouns, and Elevate, while the other three lost their 1-0 match, Liquid, M80, and BOSS, with only Wildcard and Complexity coming out with a win, yesterday.

Day 3 will have even more heartbreak as the day will start with Liquid taking on BOSS and M80 facing Wildcard, both series for elimination. Complexity will play against FURIA in the later stages of the day for one of the first two spots in the PGL Copenhagen Major.
