RBG and Rebirth cruise to ESEA Autumn Cash Cup 2 semis
The first day of ESEA's Autumn Cash Cup 2 played out yesterday, seeing MDL sides RBG and Rebirth breeze through the bracket to meet invited sides New England Whalers and Secret Club.
Notable teams started running into each other in the fourth round, where Eclipse took down a Vireo.pro mix featuring Dylan "Saturn" Finch and Hunter "florgy" Coulson, paiN defeated Kinship, and RBG beat Counter Nature. Notably RBG utilized "JAM" instead of Jerric "wiz" Jiang through this point in the event, but it didn't seem to slow down the Canadian MDL rookies.
In the semifinals, Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak continued his form from the IEM Beijing-Haidian Closed Qualifier, topping the scoreboard to help Rebirth defeat Eclipse 16-11. On the other side of the bracket, RBG, now with wiz in tow, crushed paiN 16-6 on Overpass. Jadan "HexT" Postma put up big numbers for RBG against the Brazilians, going 25-10.

The event will wrap-up today, with RBG taking on New England Whalers at 4 PM EST, followed by Rebirth facing off against Secret Club at 6 PM EST. The grand final will be played afterwards, seeing the winners walk away with $3,000, while the runners-up will still net $1,000 for themselves.
