Triumph move past paiN to Dust2.us Masters FPL Cup 1 grand finals
Triumph have prevailed over paiN in the second semifinal of our very own Dust2.us Masters FPL Cup 1, earning a spot in the championship round against Yeah.
The two teams began their bout on Inferno, kicking off with Triumph taking the reins in a 10-5 opening effort. paiN seemed to be on the comeback trail in the second half as they clawed back, but Triumph remained resilient as they fought to close out the map 16-12, moving the series on to Nuke.
There, the North American and Brazilian rosters continued to lock horns, with paiN edging out a one-round lead by the break. The teams continued to remain neck-and-neck in the second half, battling all the way to thirty rounds, but it was once again Triumph who emerged the victors as they narrowly secured a 16-14 victory thanks to a clutch from in-game leader Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman.
Triumph will face off against Yeah at 7 PM EDT later today in the grand finals of the first Dust2.us Masters FPL Cup.
